Khizr Khan, the father of a fallen American Soldier, that you may remember from his speech at the DNC calling out Donald Trump’s Islamophobia, has thrown down on the GOP Presidential Candidate, challenging him to take a Naturalization test…a test in which there is no way Donald Trump himself could pass.
Huffington Post reported Kahn saying “I challenge Trump to take the Naturalization Test with me any day. His is demagoguery and pandering for vote. A divider like Trump can never be the steward of this country.”
Trump’s feud with the Khan’s has apparently done more damage to his campaign than Trump would likely admit.
Polls taken after his initial criticism of the Muslim family indicate a large majority of the country disapprove of his behavior toward them, and many of the prominent Republicans who are jumping off the Trump Train are citing this incident as a major factor in their decision.
Khan isn’t the only one suggesting Trump take the test. Senate minority leader Harry Reid also challenged Trump to prove his alleged patriotism in this way. Reid issued a strongly worded message on the matter, going as far as to call Trump “nothing more than a spoiled, unpatriotic drain on society who has earned nothing and helped no one.”
We’ll be sure to post the results of Trump’s Naturalization Test as soon as it happens. Don’t hold your breath, because if he did take the test, he’d likely be deported.
