Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump-Russia ties has expanded deeper than anyone could have imagined when it started, which can make it difficult to keep up with all the different directions he is taking it and where he might be headed next.
It’s been reported that Mueller actually has sort of a “Top-10 List” of names that he is pursuing as leads in the investigation.
Axios has reviewed a Grand Jury subpoena that Robert Mueller’s team sent to a witness last month.
What Mueller is asking for: Mueller is subpoenaing all communications — meaning emails, texts, handwritten notes, etc. — that this witness sent and received regarding the following people:
- Carter Page
- Corey Lewandowski
- Donald J. Trump
- Hope Hicks
- Keith Schiller
- Michael Cohen
- Paul Manafort
- Rick Gates
- Roger Stone
- Steve Bannon
The Axios report points out the newly obtained subpoena was sent out “last month”, which could anything from a few days ago to weeks ago.
Why is the timing important? Bill Palmer points out, “This may have been sent before or after Steve Bannon spilled his guts to Robert Mueller, but it does tell us that Mueller was actively pursuing Bannon-related evidence at some recent point. Keith Schiller was with Donald Trump on his fateful “Pee Pee Tape” trip to Russia. Hope Hicks just resigned.”
These people are going to regret the day they decided to get involved with Donald J. Trump for President, but anyone involved and prosecuted deserves what justice comes their way.
Stay tuned, folks. We expect things to become rather explosive in the coming days.
