As #LindseyGrahamResign trends on Twitter, even a week after it started, because of the South Carolina Senator’s involvement with Russian corruption, covering up Trump’s involvement with Russian corruption, calling for longer detainment periods for immigrant children at the border, his refusal to admit that the Mueller Report implicates Trump in obstruction of justice, and just his all around general ignorance, it seems like a good time for this video to go viral.
Then a member of the House of Representatives, Graham also claimed “[Clinton] doesn’t have to say, ‘Go lie for me,’ to be a crime. You don’t have to say, ‘Let’s obstruct justice’ for it to be a crime. You judge people on their conduct, not magic phrases.”
So surely, now in the Senate, Graham would hold the current President to the same standards, yes?

Hardly. Upon the release of the Mueller Report, which clearly sees the Special Counsel handing over nearly a dozen instances of obstruction of justice against Trump to Congress to prosecute and Attorney General Barr’s blatant misrepresentation of the findings, Graham had this to say: “Once again, I applaud Attorney General Barr for his commitment to transparency and keeping the American people informed.”
Imagine a world where Republicans didn’t have the most hypocritical double standards in the history of American politics. You’d have to imagine, because it doesn’t exist.
