Mike Pence’s Innocence Claim in Scandal Gets Shattered By Document Discovery

Mike Pence has been keeping himself off the radar in a stellar fashion. He’s trying to maintain a low profile in hopes that when Trump goes down, he can slide right into the Presidency.

The only problem with that plan is that when this giant mess of a Trump-Russia scandal does explode, Pence is going to be in a massive mess all of his own.

When Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort was arrested, it signaled major issues for Pence. Mike Pence and Paul Manafort regularly communicated by phone during the Pence-led transition, which never made sense, because there was quite literally no reason whatsoever for them to be in regular communication.

By now, the reasons for their communications are probably known to investigators since Manafort was under wiretap surveillance during that time, but we can’t know for sure what was captured on the wiretap.

Mike Pence’s more pressing issue is that his other pal Michael Flynn’s guilty plea spells more bad news for him.

During the transition period, Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings sent a letter to Mike Pence with concerns about Michael Flynn being a paid foreign agent.

This is EXTREMELY significant, because this entire time Pence has been saying he knew absolutely nothing about Flynn’s shady dealings, which clearly isn’t true based on the timing of the letter from Rep. Elijah Cummings.

This means Pence knew exactly who he was dealing with when he made Michael Flynn the National Security Adviser, and then Pence continued to claim ignorance to protect Flynn when it all hit the fan.

Scott Dworkin with the Democratic Coalition pointed this out months ago, but no one listened…

With more and more his shady friends going down, it’s hard to see a way Pence would still be standing after this mess. Pence may follow Trump on his way out of the White House and we can’t say we would be surprised.

Below is a copy of the letter sent to Mike Pence on November 18, 2016 by Elijah Cummings:

This is all very, very bad news for Mike Pence…

Politico reported in May this year,“Vice President Mike Pence is standing by his March claim that he learned about Michael Flynn’s lobbying work through the media, even as a new report indicates Flynn informed the transition team in January that he was under federal investigation for not properly disclosing the paid work.”

“Pence, who ran President Donald Trump’s transition operation, had told Fox News on March 9 that “hearing that story today was the first I heard of it.” He repeated the claim about Flynn’s ties to Turkey later in the interview, and said the revelation affirmed Trump’s decision to fire the national security adviser.”

Well, that isn’t exactly true, is it? Congressman Elijah Cummings brought Mike Flynn’s activities to Pence’s attention back in November 2016 in the letter that was sent to him.
