In a House press conference, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (D. WI) was asked if the infamous Nunes Memo vindicated popular vote loser Donald Trump in the Russia Probe, which Trump claims it did.
Ryan took the opportunity to deliver a passionate, nuanced, detail exposition of his views on the Nunes memo and what it means for the future of the Trump presidency and the Mueller probe. Just kidding!
During the press conference, CNN’s Manu Raju asked Ryan for clarification on his comment that “the Nunes memo was separate from the Mueller investigation.”
“Let me go back to what I said — this is about FISA abuse and about holding our government accountable and about Congress doing its job in conducting oversight over the executive branch, in this particular case has been given great power over us as citizens,” the speaker responded. “We need to make sure that power is used correctly.”
Ryan actually took the opportunity to prove what a massive coward he is, running from the question. You can watch it here:
REPORTER: Speaker Ryan, you said the Nunes memo had nothing to do with Mueller probe.
REPORTER: But Trump said the memo is ‘complete vindication’ for him. Why would the president say that if they are in fact unrelated?
RYAN: Look, let’s change the topic. pic.twitter.com/34sVkPsOPn

This is a man who is just giving up. He clearly has no interest in serving his constituents or the American people anymore.
