Robert Mueller Has Forced Trump Into an Extremely Bad Decision, Trump Loses No Matter What

Popular vote loser Donald Trump has been seemingly backed into a corner by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Trump is soon going to have to face a decision that will likely bring down his presidency (or not, since he’s totally innocent and all, right?).

Trump and his legal team, being the brilliant law scholars that they are, has to make a decision: Will they allow Trump to interview with Mueller and his team? Trump’s legal team is terrified of this prospect, because they know he’s too incompetent to not immediately perjure himself, likely within minutes of sitting down with Mueller.

Trump is in such a bad position that his own attorneys are literally admitting to the public that they are afraid Trump will lie in the interview, according the New York Times.

“Lawyers for President Trump have advised him against sitting down for a wide-ranging interview with the special counsel,” the Times tells us, citing four people familiar with the situation. “His lawyers are concerned that the president, who has a history of making false statements and contradicting himself, could be charged with lying to investigators.”

Hang on…I’m confused. Trump claims he’s innocent, so what exactly is there to lie about?

Bill Palmer says, “What will Donald Trump specifically do in response to Robert Mueller’s testimony demands? No one knows for sure. But this does mean that we’re about to see Trump make a bad decision, because his only choices are bad ones, and then make things far worse than he has to, because he’s such an erratic self immolating nutcase he even scares his own attorneys. Based on the timing, that self immolation is coming any minute now.”

So, 1) Trump can meet with Mueller and perjure himself, or 2) Trump can refuse, get subpoena’d and be viewed as guilty in the court of public opinion, which would be political suicide.

Mueller can legally force Trump to testify, but we all know that Donald Trump and his people believe that the President is somehow above the law. Get your popcorn and soda ready – this is about to go to the next level.
