Trump Literally Just Publicly Admitted Russia Interfered in Election

Popular vote loser Donald Trump has long been claiming that there was no Russian meddling into the 2016 Presidential election, despite overwhelming evidence, even proof, to the contrary.

Trump tweeted this as recently as last September:

“We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College. I guess the final numbers are now at 306. She’s down to a very low number. No, I don’t believe that at all,” Trump told Fox News a month after the election.

And then, in an interview with Time that same month December 2 with Time, Trump said  “I don’t believe they interfered. That became a laughing point, not a talking point, a laughing point. Any time I do something, they say ‘oh, Russia interfered.”

Famously, on a trip to Australia, Trump said the following about Putin and election meddling:

“Every time he sees me, he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ And I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”

He’s also called US intelligence officials “political hacks” and called journalists “Fake news” and much worse for respectively investigating the issue and reporting on the issue.

Then Trump Tweeted this yesterday…

You mean all that Russian meddling that you’ve been saying doesn’t exist for a year and half? That meddling?

The sad part, or hilarious part depending on your viewpoint, is that Trump is far too ignorant to even realize that he just completely contradicted his entire stance on the issue that he’s fought for since the election.

Also, most everything he says in that tweet is false, as you can read about here, from Politico.
