Trump Now Under Investigation For Multiple Criminal Violations Surrounding Porn Star Payoffs, Says Attorney

Here’s a sentence I can’t believe I have to write in 2018:  The President of the United States allegedly had his lawyer pay off a porn star to be quiet about their affair in a way that almost certainly violated election laws, and it probably won’t have any negative effect on his presidency.

Welcome to the Donald Trump era, everyone!

The popular vote losing President “allegedly” had an affair (right after his wife gave birth to their son – what a great harbinger of family values) with porn star Stormy Daniels and had his lawyer, Michael Cohen, pay her off right before the election to remain silent about it.

And, as if this weren’t insane and disgusting enough, she’s not the only porn start they “allegedly” paid off for silence.

According to one attorney, this likely violated the law, several times over:

He said that if the payment came from the Trump Organization, where Cohen served as lawyer and executive VP, that would certainly violate the FECA law against corporate contributions to candidates and campaign committees.

Larrabee claims that “Because the payment came near the end of Trump campaign, and was made to aid the campaign by purchasing the silence of Daniels, it amounted to an in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign.”

“By paying off Daniels for the Trump campaign, Trump, The Trump Organization and Cohen likely committed federal crimes,” Larrabee continued.

The payoff also likely violated FECA’s $2,700 contribution limit by nearly 50 times, and Larrabee claims the value of Cohen’s services probably violated that same limit.

Finally,  Larrabee said, the payoff was almost certainly not reported by Trump in required disclosures to the Election Commission, which would also be a federal crime.

I wonder when Robert Mueller has scheduled his interview with Stormy Daniels.

I’m ready to live in a time less stupid, folks.
