Trump recorded bragging on 9/11 that his building is “now the tallest”
In the wake of signing Congress’ bill aiding surviving 9/11 first responders, President Donald Trump has doubled down on some old lies about his involvement and whereabouts that fateful day.
“I was down there also, but I’m not considering myself a first responder,” Trump said. “But I was down there. I spent a lot of time down there with you.”
Trump more than implied that he was on the ground with first responders when he was actually on air bragging about the size of his buildings compared to the fallen twin towers.
“40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest—and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it’s the tallest.”
Trump just lied acting like he was a 9/11 first responder again. That’s the day he said “now it’s the tallest,” about his own building, as the Twin Towers fell. Absolutely disgusting. Here’s video of him saying it. Let’s make it viral. #WeBelieveMueller pic.twitter.com/f1SMZGYkfA

Trump also received $150,000 from the 9/11 fund, even though none of his buildings were affected by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The delusion of Trump, and his supporters, is unprecedented in American history. He lies about every aspect of his life.
