NBC Exposes Melania Trump’s Cover-up About Her Past

NBC News is reporting that Melania Trump has removed information from her personal website biography that has been proven to be untrue.

The website,, was removed in July 2016, but is still available through internet archiving sources. You can see the page here.

In the website she uses language to suggest she earned a college degree before her modeling career took off. “After obtaining a degree in design and architecture at University in Slovenia, Melania was jetting between photo shoots in Paris and Milan, finally settling in New York in 1996.”

Her new biography, available on her husband’s governmental website,, suggests that while she attended classes for a time, a degree was never earned. “Mrs. Trump began a modeling career at age 16 and signed with a modeling agency in Milan.  She would pursue a degree at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, but paused her studies to advance her modeling career in Milan and Paris, before moving to New York in 1996.”

NBC reports that questions about the veracity of Mrs. Trump’s biography arose early in the year. They followed up with questions by speaking with a former professor and visiting the University from which she once claimed to have graduated.

Blaz Matija Vogelnik, a professor who said he briefly taught her at Slovenia’s University of Ljubljana, told NBC News in August that she did not complete his course.

“She hasn’t finished university, at least not in Ljubljana,” he said. “My personal opinion is that, because she was very beautiful girl … I believe that she realized that she could gain more with that, than to have long studies.”

Had she completed the course, Melania Trump’s research would ordinarily be in the university’s library, but it could not been found there when NBC News visited the college this summer.

After several other organizations reported the inaccuracies contained in her bio, she removed the website in July, 2016.
